MY STORY: Carolyn Evans
Tell a little about your life before you trusted Christ:
I was very busy doing what I wanted to do and feeding my flesh, not really caring about myself or anyone else. I was so blinded to the fact that the Lord loved me so very much. I was so spiritually blinded to the things of the Lord and the destiny that He had for me. That there were actually people waiting for me on the other side of my destiny to hear the Word of the Lord. I got so far away from the Lord I even had an abortion.
Tell about your conversion~how you came to trust Christ:
My friend was murdered in the parking lot of the hotel I was managing. She was stabbed fourteen times by her boyfriend. He was running from the parking lot when I ran face to face with him. The knife still in his hand. All he had to do was to put the knife through my heart and no one would have known it was him. But God had another plan for me and it was not to die in a parking lot. On Christmas Day of 1995, Jerry and I both committed our lives to the Lord.
Finally, tell what your life is like since meeting Him:
Peace that passes all understanding.
Pray and ask God to give you opportunities to share your testimony.
